Navigating the EU Pay Transparency Directive: A Two-Part Webinar Series for Irish Organisations
Only 17 Weeks to Go
The EU Pay Transparency Directive must be transposed into Irish law by June 7th.
With just 17 weeks remaining, Organisations need to move quickly from awareness to action. Essentially, preparation needs to be underway now.
The EU Pay Transparency Directive represents a fundamental shift in how pay, equality and transparency are regulated. It introduces enhanced information rights for Employees and jobseekers, new reporting and information obligations, and significantly lowers the barriers to bringing equal pay claims.
To minimise compliance risks and exposure to equal pay claims, early and structured preparation is essential.
About the Webinar Series
To help Organisations prepare within the limited time remaining, Linea and Adare invite you to a two-part webinar series exploring both:
- What the law requires, and
- What Organisations need to do in practice to be ready
Each session can be attended as a standalone webinar, but together they provide a complete roadmap for compliance and implementation ahead of the June deadline.
Webinar One: Employment Law Compliance Under the EU Pay Transparency Directive
Is your Organisation prepared for the heightened risk of equal pay claims? The Employee requirement to establish facts that raise an inference of discrimination will soon be removed under the EU Pay Transparency Directive shifting the burden of proof to the Employer.
This session focuses on the legal and compliance obligations introduced by the Directive, many of which will apply to all Organisations, regardless of Employee headcount.
Key topics include:
- What the Directive says
- Like work and work of equal value
- Equal pay claims and burden of proof
- Organisational risks
This webinar provides a clear view of the key compliance priorities, the legal risks of being unprepared and the consequences of non-compliance.
