Pay Update: Proposed Increase to Minimum Wage and Construction Sector SEO Changes

It has been reported in the Irish Times that the Low Pay Commission has recommended an increase of 79 cent per hour to the national minimum wage to the Minister for Enterprise. If accepted, this would bring the national minimum wage from €14.15 per hour to €14.94 from January 1st 2027.
Minimum rates of pay under the Construction Sector SEO will also increase from the 1st of August.
