We have dedicated the last 10 minutes of the webinar to a Q&A.

Retirement and Employee requests for longer working can be a highly challenging aspect of HR, both for HR Departments and for Line Managers. Join us at our upcoming webinar where we will set out recent legislative changes, consider Employer-side obligations around requests for longer working and examine contractual and other risks around allowing Employees to work beyond a contractual retirement age.

What is this webinar about?

Employment laws in the area of pensions and retirement have been developing in recent years. As well as the challenge of keeping up with employment law compliance, Employers are facing more and more Employee claims querying the lawfulness of their Organisation’s compulsory retirement policies.

To support Organisations with this key aspect of HR practice, Linea is hosting a webinar on Thursday 2nd May 2024 at 11.00am that will examine this area of Irish employment law and Human Resource Management including:

  • Recent Legislative Developments
  • Practically Responding to a Request for Longer Working
  • Risks of Allowing Employees to Continue Working Beyond a Mandatory Retirement Age
  • Contractual Considerations Around Allowing Employees Continue Working Beyond a Mandatory Retirement Age

Join us at our upcoming webinar for answers to these key questions and more, where we share our experience of supporting Organisations.
