Employment Legislation Alert: Employment Permits Act 2024 Comes Into Force on Monday 2nd September 2024

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Peter Burke and Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Emer Higgins have announced that the Employment Permits Act 2024 will come into force on Monday 2nd September 2024.

The Act repeals the existing employment permits legislation and aims to consolidate, streamline and update the existing legal framework around the employment of non-EEA nationals.
